Did it exist? Only fragments have ever been found of the Spino, not a full skeleton or anything. It is in debate wether it existed, or not.

The fragments of the Spino have been long since destroyed, during WWI. It is said that spino's back was part of a parasaur, mixed in with some Baryonyx bones.

I'll post some articles ASAP. Till then, discuss it in general, and debate it's existence.

The question is not whether or not it existed; we have enough fossil evidence and illustrations for that. I believe one of the main (NOT a Dino vs. Dino) questions surrounding this mysterious dinosaur is what it used the sail for. It is most likely that it was used for warming it or cooling it (similar to the theory of Stegosaurus) and possibly attracting mates and warning rivals with bright colors.
