| A Topic to dicuss what you like better about the movie than the book, or vice versa, kinda like this: I liked the Galli stampede more than the Hadrosaur stampede. | |

| The novels are better in like telling you more, and you get more info from the book, but the movie gives you imagination you can see everything what gives more to it so I have to say there even. | |

| Well, in the movie, the suspense was much broader. The novel had more of an impact on me. | |

Agreed. The novel had much more in it, and a lot of characters had a better part in the novel than the book. Crhichtons storytelling is genus (even though I never cared much for ER )

| It's hard for me to say....
I like the movies because of the T-Rex having a bigger role in them, but I like the novel because of the extra info. I wasn't a big fan of the baby-killing dinosaurs, but Dinosaurs escaping was my big cheer there. Also the deadline to contact the ship was a lot more thrilling.

But the novel has the T. rex hunting Grant and the kids everywhere. I think the Tyrannosaurus hasn't a minor role in the novel. Actually I think the opposite.

| That puzzles me though. Why would the T-Rex chase those three? in the end the energy wasted wouldn't be worth it to eat three small snacks. I do like the special effects in the flm and it has a nostalgia factor working for me, for it. | |

| The reason why the T. rex keep followed the three was already a matter of debate in other JP internet forums, but no one could get to a plausible conclusion. I think they had something that attracted the rex, but what? | |

| I think it might be because the T-Rex first smelled something new on them and went for it? | |

| Rubber does have a smell....and the Rex probably saw Grant and the kids, thinking of them as prey. | |
